Tanjung Bloam, the Hidden Paradise of the Lombok Island

Who didn’t know the Lombok Island?? The small beautiful Island in Indonesia, South East Asian, it is closed to the Bali Island. Although Lombok is not as famous as Bali, but the beauty of Lombok is as fantastic as Bali. Nowadays, Lombok is known as the new wanted destination in Indonesia after Bali, even perhaps it will take over the tourist heart in choosing destination for vacation in the world. :D

Did you know? Lombok has many wonderful places to explore for the destination hunters both local and international tourists. Indonesia must be proud of having Lombok, not because Lombok has many great destinations but because of Lombok has achieved 2 appreciations from World Halal Travel Award 2015 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates to be World’s Best Halal Honeymoon Destination and World’s Best Halal Tourism Destination. That’s the great news ever for my Indonesia because it is the first time.

I will share my trip story when I explored one of the beautiful destinations in Lombok, especially in East Lombok. If you talk about Lombok, it seems that there are some most famous destinations such as Senggigi beach, Kuta beach, Rinjani Mountain, or the 3 Gili (gili trawangan, gili meno and gili air). Yeah, that’s right! These destinations have been spread and very famous in the world travelers of course. But here, I will take you to the other side of Lombok. It is very hidden, devious and amazing, guys! You will be very amazed of it, because I have ever been there and I was very WOW! It’s my first visiting there. Hehe…

People call that place as TANJUNG BLOAM! Did you ever hear?

Don’t worry if some of you who didn’t ever hear and know that, I will let you know, jiaaah….. hehehe

This destination is located in Sekaroh village, East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. It seems good if it’s complete, right? :D The route is same as the way to get to the Pink Beach (Tangsi Beach) and Tanjung Ringgit, it’s about 3 kilometers before Pink beach in the right side. There is a marker for entering to the Jeva Bloam Villa if you are guest of hotels. But if you’re not! Don’t worry!! There is another way to get there, although it’s bit steep and horror. Do not afraid of losing a way because there are many travelers who will accompany you entering the challenging route. About 1 kilometer before the gate of Jeva Bloam Villa, there is a way that was marked as “Gili Bloam” that’s the way to enter the Tanjung Bloam destination, but you must be brave to get there. Why? Because the route is quite steep to track guys but you will amaze when you arrive there! So be patient! If you are not take care of, it must be very dangerous! So be careful and keep safe!

Before entering the gate that was secured by people there, you have to pay 15 thousand rupiahs for only 1 motorcycle, car couldn’t enter due to the track road was bit narrow and muddy in rainy season. You will find the ground route with mud and stone. It’s very rock guys but I enjoyed my trip. Then, after pass the ground route, you will park your motorcycle in the place that’s available by the people there, you didn’t need to pay parking again. Afterwards, you must walk through hill and ravine about 15 minutes and then you will enter wood about 15 minutes that was very cold then you will get to the Tanjung Bloam. Yeah! Finally. You will see this view when you out of the wood! Amazing! all tired is paid!
